Edmonton’s BeerFest 

Edmonton’s International BeerFest is Edmontons BeerFest an Edmonton-based business founded and still operated by Edmontonians. The Edmonton BeerFest has always promoted and supported local businesses, charities, and performing arts, showcasing them to its international attendees.

Our Story

Edmonton BeerFest dates back to the early 2000s, a time in Edmonton when there were only a handful of breweries. The first events included the following breweries:

  • Yellowhead
  • Hogshead
  • Big Rock
  • Sleeman
  • Brewsters

The Edmonton BeerFest supports local entertainment and music. Some of the first festivals featured performances by:

  • The Uncas
  • The Fronts

The Staff 

Operated by the original owner with family and friends, additional staff from local charities and businesses including The Veterans Association, Pride, Diabetes Association etc..
